42 now available as 5-arm boom
Still in October, Putzmeister AG will start delivery of their M 42
as a 5-arm boom to the customers. This compact concrete pump with
five flexible and short boom segments has been introduced just
recently to several customers from Europe. The response has been
very positive. |

Japan "Ten in a row "
For decades, Putzmeister concrete, mortar and high density solids
pumps have been used in Japan, a country which is spoilt for
technology. Of course, it takes quite a bit longer to transport the
machines to the Far East, and the transport process is associated
with significantly higher costs for PM dispatch. The simultaneous
shipment of ten truck-mounted concrete pumps on the 21,000 km long
ocean voyage to Tokyo at the end of October was the exception to the
rule but, at the same time, was a fascinating example of the careful
planning and smooth cooperation between all those involved. |

Korea "Powerful pump unit for
stiff concrete"
With an investment of three billion Euros the South Korean project
company IREX is currently having a line built for highspeed trains
between the new Incheon International Airport and the capital Seoul.
For placement of the concrete, which is usually very stiff, they put
their trust in a truck-mounted concrete pump made by Putzmeister’s
South Korean company. The reason: the machine with the ”16 H“ unit
is in a position to be able to deliver 50 m3/h even at a concrete
pressure of 85 bar. |
